Wake Forest downs Stanford, 24-17
The Wake Forest Demon Deacons picked up a big win for the ACC in a 24-17 victory over the Stanford Cardinal.
Wake Forest got off to a sluggish start and found themselves trailing 17-3 at halftime.
Entering the fourth quarter down by seven, the Demon Deacons shut out Stanford and scored two touchdowns to seal the comeback victory.
Quarterback Riley Skinner threw for just under 200 yards while tossing one touchdown and running for another one.
The team will certainly lean heavily on their experienced senior quarterback throughout the season.
