Wake Forest upset by North Carolina State, 68-54
The Wake Forest Demon Deacons couldn’t take care of business in a 68-54 loss to the North Carolina State Wolfpack.
It’s a terribly disappointing effort and loss by Wake Forest, who was battling for a top spot in the ACC.
The Demon Deacons have now slipped down to fourth place and are two games behind the Terps and Hokies for second/third place.
A lot of the loss can be pinned on Wake’s outside shooting. The team was 0-12 from three-point range.
It’s not a secret that the Demon Deacons struggle from the outside, so expect a lot more zone from opponents in the coming weeks.
