Wake Forest embarassed by Kentucky, 90-60
The Wake Forest Demon Deacons were embarassed by the Kentucky Wildcats in a 90-60 loss.
It was a very bad matchup for Wake Forest, who thought they had the speed and athletes to keep pace with Kentucky.
They were very sadly mistaken, and their up-tempo game played right into Kentucky’s hands.
To be honest, Wake Forest hasn’t played well since the early part of the ACC schedule and was lucky to draw another sputtering team in the first round.
Had the Demon Deacons drawn any of the other No. 8 seeds, they probably wouldn’t have reached the second round of the tournament.
